Welcome to Hertfordshire Healthy Workplace Programme

 

Hertfordshire County Council has developed a FREE health and wellbeing offer

to support small and medium sized businesses (SME's) from the private and voluntary sector, and their employees.

 

Organisations can access support in two ways, via joining the Herts Healthy Workplace accreditation scheme or through booking Workplace NHS and Wellbeing checks for employees.

 

 

 

The Herts Healthy Workplace Programme

This FREE support enables employers in Hertfordshire to address health concerns in their workplace

by giving them the knowledge, resources, training and skillset needed to create a wellbeing led culture.

Through the programme, organisations will receive 1:1 support from a Workplace Health Specialist and unlock incentives including:

  • Access to an online platform with a wide range of health and wellbeing resources
  • Training of Workpalce Health Champions within the organisation
  • NHS Health Checks and Wellbeing checks
  • Bespoke employee wellbeing reports
  • Advertising and promotion of your achievements

NHS Health Checks and Wellbeing Checks

Free check ups on heart and blood vessel health for your employees at a number of locations across Hertfordshire. On site checks at your workplace are also available for routine and manual workforces.

NHS Health Checks are for those aged 40-74 without any prexisting conditions. Wellbeing checks are for those who do not qualify for NHS Health Checks but still offer the same beneficial lifestyle support and discussions to improve overall health.
